Woodblock print, woodcut. Signed Taisho juichinen jugatsu, Shinsui ga (11th month 1922 by Shinsui). Watanabe's round publisher's seal at lower left corner. Verso seal hand numbered: Nihyaku mai kagiri zeppan, dai yon-juu roku ban (limited edition of 200, this is number 46). 43x26cm.
PROVENANCE: Architect Axel Bergman (1877-1965), Djursholm. Acquired in Stockholm around 1930. Within the family since then.

Condition

Time staining. A few, very pale specks of foxing to right margin.
Backboard staining. Paper-skinning and residues of old glue to three places at upper edge on verso (from old mounting). Some residues of old glue on verso.
Colors attenuated.
