Exceptionally heavy, hand-driven teapot / coffeepot on 4 feet, ending in florally decorated rocaille cartouches. Curved handle, caster in the form of a gargoyle, mythical creature. A knob in the shape of a flower on the hinged lid. 2 hallmarks underneath, grade 800 and illegible diamond-shaped hallmark, the 800 probably struck in the course of an earlier grade test. D 29 x W 16 x 19.5 cm, weight 996 grams.
