A CHINESE BRONZE TRIPOD INCENSE BURNER.

Of compressed globular form, standing on three small tapering feet, the shoulder with two opposing foo dog masks, one side of the shoulder with a reticulated reserve, the other sides with three small reticulated cartouches, the body engraved with twenty one Buddhist symbols, patinated bronze, six-character marks above two of the feet. Period: 18th century, Qing (1644–1912).
