8th. 166 x 92 mm. (2), 56, 74, 46, 218; (4), 203; 84; 48; 125, (3) pp. 1 engraved frontispiece. Lightly worn contemporary semi-French bindings with gold lined spines, raised bindings, red leather labels, splatter decorated endpapers and exploded cuts. Second band with back injury. Partially slightly layer stained, occasional small stains. A couple of notes in ink, some markings in pencil. Carl Theod. Löwstädt's signature on the front cover pages.

Melchior Adam Weikard (1742-1803), German physician and philosopher. Now considered the first to describe what is today called ADHD.
