Depiction of the Madonna and the Christ Child, so-called Psychosostria type. The halo of the Madonna in the form of the nimbus, Greek inscription. Chased metal pad. Dating mid to late 19th century, possibly companion in the Greek-Turkish War. Dimensions: 18 x 31 x 1.5 cm + 1 cm "reinforcement".

Condition

Worm-eaten in places, however, the painting retains tension cracks in the wood, the metal plating has no dents. Stabilized on the back by mounting a simple board.
