Handwritten autographs and inscriptions on, in most cases, cabinet-format photographs, approx. 16.5 x 10.5 cm. Some on business card photographs, 10.5 x 6.5 cm, a few also on postcards/photographs, approx. 13.5 x 8 cm Including 3 photos signed by John Forsell, Hans Balatka (conductor and composer), Alexander Kirchner, Julia Claussen , Vilhelm Herold, Erika Wedekind, David Stockman, Max Strandberg, Anna Karlsohn, Davida Lilienberg, Erik Åkerberg, Nisse Adami, Martin Oscar, William Beck, Signe Rappe, Alma Hultkrantz, Arvid Ödmann, Jean Grafström, Anna Norrie, Axel Nordqvist, Matilda Keyser, Matilda Jungstedt, Åke Wallgren, Carl Lejdström, Fritiof Strömberg, Magna Lykseth-Skogman, Carl Fredrik Lundqvist, Sven Nyblom, Knut Öhrström, Fritiof Strömberg, Peter Cornelius, Adolf T. Provenance: Ernst Henrik Svedelius, born on July 27, 1872 in Copenhagen, died on October 20, 1945 in Stockholm, was a Swedish opera singer (bass).

Svedelius studied singing with, among others, Axel Rundberg and Arturo Marescalchi. He was a church and opera singer in the United States for seven years and returned to Sweden as a soloist for the first Swedish-American choir in 1897. Svedelius continued his studies in singing with Oscar Lejdström at the conservatory of music. He made his debut at the Royal Theater in 1900, where, after employment with Albert Ranft 1901–1904, he was engaged 1905–1928. Svedelius became honorary president of the Swedish-American veteran singers association in Chicago in 1921. Among his roles are Gurnemanz in Parsifal, Marcel in The Huguenots, Rocco in Fidelio, Hagen, Hunding and Fafner in The Nibelungen Tetralogy, Lothario in Mignon, Falstaff in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Cardinal Brogni in The Jewess, King Henrik in Lohengrin, Daland in The Flying Dutchman , Sulpice in The Regiment's Daughter, Pogner in The Masters of Nuremberg and Sarastro in The Magic Flute.
