Description

ca 93x83 cm GUN SETTERDAHL Setterdahl studied at the Slöjdföreningen's school 1931–1933 and Valand's painting school in Gothenburg 1933–1937 as well as privately with Isaac Grünewald in Stockholm 1937 and with Sven Erixson at the Academy of Arts 1938–1944. On a scholarship from Prince Eugen, she was able to study for a year in Italy in 1947 and has since undertaken study trips to the Netherlands, France and Spain.
Together with Alf ten Siethoff and Erik Svensson, she exhibited at Galleri Brinken in Stockholm and With Ingrid Thelander in Borås. Separately, she exhibited in, among other places, Norrköping, Linköping, Stockholm and at Lorensberg's art salon in Gothenburg. She participated in collective exhibitions arranged by Sweden's general art association, Nordic female artists and Liljevalch's Stockholm salons.
