Print surface approx. 80x58 cm The Italian anatomist Paolo Mascagni's most important work was his work on the lymphatic system. In the very first years of the 19th century, he started a mammoth work with a very expensive work on human anatomy. For the pictures he engaged Antonio Serrantoni who completed the work after Mascagni's death. The book consists of detailed and hand-colored engravings in folio format.
