Numbered below: 158055 Reportedly dismantled from abandoned German submarine in Norway, May 1945, after the end of the war.
the binoculars have reportedly been mounted as turret binoculars. The submarine is then reportedly sunk in the Oslofjord.

Provenance, reportedly in the possession of the artist Bertil Liljeblad.

Normal wear and tear, paint scuffing, headrest with damage.
Plaque with the symbol of the German Empire and specifications later removed.
