H: 18.5 cm W: 10.5 cm D: 13.5 cm This object is a hand-painted decorative porcelain from the brand HUTSCHENREUTHER 1814 by K. Tutter (based on a blue embossed brand on the bottom with the artist's name in the form of an incision; see pictures). The object is dated around the 1930s. The figure depicts a pair of budgerigars on a branch, which stands on a gold-plated rocaille base. The object is in very good condition.

K. Tutter signature stands for the Austro-German sculptor Karl Tutter (b. 1883 in Neudeck, died. 1969 in Selb). He modeled in the State Museum for Regional Studies, in the Royal Privileged Porcelain Factory Tettau, and in Sitzendorf Porcelain Manufactory. In addition, he was represented with a total of 18 works at the Great German Art Exhibition in Munich. Until 1956 he created expressive, highly popular sculptures in the Art Deco style in various forms and functions, so that in 1941 he received an honorary prize for sculpture in Bayreuth.
