When Margareta "Maggie" Wibom started Stockholms Keramik HB in 1938, she was one of the first women to open her own ceramics business in Sweden. Wibom trained at Konstfack 1921-24, then she came to work at Bo Fajans, Gefle Porslinsfabrik and S:t Eriks Lervarufabriker in Uppsala.
