Description

A locomotive driver's cap of the 1909 model. It is a screen cap made of black felt fabric with screen and bridle in black lacquered leather. The cap badge is circular and the cap band is decorated with a chevron, which shows that the cap belonged to a train driver of a lower rank. On the chapel sits the crowned pinwheel, SJ's logo. The lacquer band is held in place by two cap bridle buttons.
All details are gold-coloured.
The sweatband is made of brown leather and the inner lining is made of black textile.
Size 58.
