the hinged cover with a four fold-out printed The Steeple Chase game on one side, morocco leather backgammon and chequer board on the other, the fitted divided interior containing a mixture of original and later games including four painted lead steeple chasers, originally there would have been six, turned and carved wooden chess set and draughts, one half natural, the other ebonised, bone and ebony dominoes, three bone dice, dice shaker, marbles, counters, crib board, solitaire board, four Bezique markers, the box 34cm x 20.5cm x 10cm, with two keys.
Condition
knocked, marked, scratched and stained, playworn, split running through the top of the box.
