Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected governor of the state of New York in 1928 and served as the 32nd president of the USA 1933-45. Walter B. Beals (1876-1960) was an American judge. In 1946-47 he served as presiding judge at the International Military Tribunal I in Nuremberg.
