Hans Theodor Hallier grew up in Tokyo until 1921. He attended the Art Academy in Weimar from 1930 to 1936. After the 2nd After World War II he was based in Bremen and since 1952 in Mittelbüren. He was highly valued as a painter in Bremen and the surrounding area.
