wood, partly color lacquered/textile/metal/ribbon. Commissioned by the Royal Navy as a sixth class ship (frigate, equipped with 20 guns) built around 1700 at the Sheemess Dockyard shipyard. Used as a royal yacht, renamed HMS Carolina/Royal Caroline from 1716 and 1733. 1749 the ship served as HMS Peregine until 1761 for the Royal Navy. HxW: 66.5 x 92 cm.
