Late 19th century, the 10cm enamel dial with Roman chapter, to an 8 day French brass barrel movement striking on a bell, contained in a large architectural polished black slate case with green marble details, and surmounted with a patinated bronze figure of a pensive classical woman resting on a broken capital,
