Description

Serial number 11327, invented by Constant Martin in 1947, the Clavioline was a precursor to the modern analogue synthesizer, it was beloved of rock & pop stars of the day including The Beatles and UK pop music producer Joe Meek, who immortalised it on The Tornados 1962 hit single 'Telstar'.
The keyboard and stand 66cm high x 52cm wide x 30cm deep.
The amplifier 43cm high x 57cm wide x 20cm deep.

Condition

Not tested for electrical compliance and should be examined by a qualified electrician prior to use.
Powers up and plays at time of cataloguing, but functionality not guaranteed and in need of a full service.
Reverb and vibrato not working.
Low B key loose but functional.
General wear throughout with age.
Some scuffs to amp and carry case.
The carry handle worn.
The metal tarnished throughout.
