The foreword to the third part written by J. G. Oxenstierna, to the fourth of J. H. Kellgren. The literary and musical society Utile Dulci was founded in memory of Otto von Dalin in 1766. In the society's anthology "Vitterhetsnøjen" there are contributions by, among others, Adlerbeth, Edelcrantz, Kellgren, Liljestråle, Oxenstierna, Paykull, Regnér, Ristell, Tengström, Tilas and Wellander.
Provenance: Clas Ifvarsson (1941-2012), CEO and CEO of Stockholm Stadshus AB. Former CEO of a couple of companies within the city of Stockholm and for a period active in municipal politics. His impressive book collection consisted for the most part of Swedish wit from the 17th-19th centuries, but also of many other important works with an emphasis on Sweden. Ifvarsson was very interested in cultural history and was also a committed and knowledgeable collector, which was evident in his extensive library.
