Sulamith Wülfing (1901-1989), flower, pencil drawing, heightened with white, on brownish paper, 1931, signed and dated, approx. 17.5 x 11.5 cm, framed behind passe-partout and glass, with frame approx. 38x30cm.

The well-known artist and illustrator Sulamith Wülfing mainly created delicate watercolor pencil drawings of fairy girls, angels, flowers or fairy tale characters. Her motifs were reproduced millions of times on postcards in the post-war period. Later she also worked as a designer for the Rosenthal company.
