Liana Nakashidze studied graphic design at the Art Academy in Batumi, Georgia in the 1980s. In 1989 she completed her painting studies at the State Art Academy in Tblisi. Since then she has exhibited in Europe, mainly in Switzerland and Scandinavia. She lives in Berlin.
