The antique ring is made of 835 silver and hallmarked, it also bears the signet of Bartel & Sohn, Augsburg.
The ring head bears an oval faceted, blood-red, Bohemian antique rose-cut garnet in the middle. This sits on a gilded latticework, which ends in rocaille patterns on the outside.
RG 52 = 17.6 mm inner diameter of the ring band, ring head 15.8 mm x 17.7 mm, garnet rose approx. 6.5mm x 5mm Weight 3.8 grams.
