8th. 183 x 119 mm. 16 pp. Stapled, inserted marbled later paper sleeve with black leather label and ball pocket. Slightly browned, minor spots, Fr. Läffler's (Leffler's) signature on the title page.
Together with: LAUREL, LARS. The main Nordic document tells the secret of the Runa alphabet through two Egyptians, the Swedish and Danish languages in honor of the discovery of Lars Laurel. Lund, with the court cameraman and director Carl Gustaf Berling, (1768).
4th. 192 x 161 mm. 64 pp. Worn and slightly stained contemporary gray paper binding. The insert layer stained and partly damp stained. The title page with tears in the lower corner and partially covered note, to the left of this, probably: P. Tham's signature, dated Dagsnäs 29 October 1792.
Provenance: Clas Ifvarsson (1941-2012), CEO and CEO of Stockholm Stadshus AB. Former CEO of a couple of companies within the city of Stockholm and for a period active in municipal politics. His impressive book collection consisted for the most part of Swedish wit from the 17th-19th centuries, but also of many other important works with an emphasis on Sweden. Ifvarsson was very interested in cultural history and was also a committed and knowledgeable collector, which was evident in his extensive library.
