8th. 140 x 85 mm. (6), 128, (8) pp. Worn marbled later cardboard binding with partially worn handwritten label and red cuts. Somewhat slightly layer stained. Title page soiled and with elderly notes in ink. Paper punching in the upper margin of the first leaf and in the lower margin of the second leaf. Underlines in ink on p. 91. Older owner's notes on the inside of the front cover and on the cover page.
Lidén, Catalogus disputationum I p. 299. This copy with the often missing tributes to the respondent, by Jacob Boëthius, Josias G. Cederhielm, Gustaf Carlsson Adlerfelt, Nils Celsius and N. Brunel.
Provenance: Clas Ifvarsson (1941-2012), CEO and CEO of Stockholm Stadshus AB. Former CEO of a couple of companies within the city of Stockholm and for a period active in municipal politics. His impressive book collection consisted for the most part of Swedish wit from the 17th-19th centuries, but also of many other important works with an emphasis on Sweden. Ifvarsson was very interested in cultural history and was also a committed and knowledgeable collector, which was evident in his extensive library.
Condition
The band is worn, in some places a little layer stained.
