Silver gelatine print, 17cm x 21.5cm (36cm x 43cm including frame). Signed Frank Griggs of Newmarket in pencil.
Note: April the Fifth (1929–1954) was a British Thoroughbred racehorse and sire. In a career that lasted from September 1931 until September 1932 he ran nine times and won three races.
He was owned by Tom Walls and Sydney McGregor and ridden by Fred Lane in the 1932 derby.
