Régence/Louis XIV, Paris around 1730/40.
Natural tortoiseshell and brass finely inlaid in "contre partie"; Flowers, leaves and decorative frieze. Curved case with cartridge attachment on volute feet. Enamel dial with Arabic minutes and Roman hours. Verge movement with 1/2 hour strike on bell. Fine bronze fittings and applications.
