Marcel Vertes (Hungarian 1895-1961) who designed textiles and scarves for Wesley Simpson from 1942 to 1948. He was a painter, illustrator, graphic designer and theatre and film costume designer who produced many illustrations and advertisements for Elsa Schiaparelli, did covers for Vogue and designed award-winning costumes for the 1952 film 'Moulin Rouge'.
