Abstract composition, frame size 88 x 123 cm Draftsman. Born in Örebro in 1907, died in 1967 in Lidingö. He studied in Stockholm, Berlin and in Paris. In 1939, he founded Anders Beckman's school for advertising and fashion drawing.
Anders Beckman was a trailblazer in the young Swedish advertising industry. He became famous with his classic posters for clients such as AB Aerotransport, the predecessor of SAS, the Red Cross, Orrefors and many more, with his attention-grabbing pavilion at the World Exhibition in New York in 1939, with the graphic profile for the H55 in Helsingborg in 1955 and for many other Swedish and international exhibitions and events.
