Autograph. Carl XII's history I-II by Knut Lundblad. 2 parts in 1 vol. Schmidt & Comp. , Christianstad, 1835-1839. 8vo in a contemporary half-French binding with gilt spine decoration. The portrait of the king is missing. With two engraved folding maps and a letter in facsimile. This copy with a pasted slip of paper on the title page with Charles XII's autograph: "Carolus" dated 1717 in the margin. (IV), V, (I) blank, 469 p. , (III), XV + map and facsimile letter and (II), VIII, 552 p. , (II) + map.

Condition

The band is badly worn and rubbed and the inlay is heavily layered. One page with small ink marks. The maps with tears. The autograph is in fairly good condition.
