Jens Peter Dahl-Jensen is one of the leading figures in Danish porcelain history. He was born in 1874 in Nibe. At the age of 20, he enrolled at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. During his final year, he was employed at Bing & Grøndahl, where he gained fame for his figurines.
In 1925, he established Dahl-Jensen Porcelain Factory on the outskirts of Copenhagen. It is from this renowned company that Kenneth Svensson Auction House in Kalmar has sourced the pieces for this theme.
