Gustaf Skoglund, born in Ingelstad exactly 100 years ago, began his artistic studies at the Art Guild's painting school in Borås. However, it was only a few years later when he enrolled as a student at Valand's painting school that his art took on the expression he is most known for today. Under the guidance of Torsten Renqvist, Skoglund's works evolved towards more abstraction with increasingly geometrically held color fields, often in beige, blue, white, and black. At Borås Auktionshall, we are offered a varied selection from the artist's repertoire, with the artwork "Sluttning" as the main highlight.
