Johan Georg Lange, Stockholm, 1780. 8vo in a later well-bound half morocco binding with gilt spine text and marbled covers. The title page with the engraved vignette of the Academy of Sciences with the text "For posterity." 118 p.
Bergius bequeathed to the Royal Academy of Sciences his library, his precious herb collection, 100,000 dalers of copper coins and his beautiful ore farm located at the Karlbergsallén, with the condition that a teaching institution for horticulture was established there, which took place and which institution became known as the Bergianska garden or Bergielund and was under supervised by one of the academy's appointed Professor Bergianus.
