Gustaf Seth was born in 1825 and was the owner of Mölneberg Manor in Burseryd outside Gnosjö in Småland.
In 1884 he achieved the rank of Kronolänsman, County Sheriff, and had detention facilities at Mölneberg in the 1880s and 1890s.
Växjö Auktionskammare now has the honour of auctioning off much of the furniture and interiors that have been in the Seth family's possession at Mölneberg since the end of the 19th century.
Among the auction items are a pine cabinet that stood in the Crown Sheriff's office, a crown cabinet from 1783, a mirror by Johan Åkerblad dated 1784, a folding table, a miniature bureau with patina, dollhouses, lamps, Art Nouveau objects, comic books, collectible cards and much more.
