Danish fine craftsmanship is, of course, at the forefront when Palsgaard Kunstauktioner presents March Selected. But the sale also features a wide range of lighting, modern paintings, and carefully selected works in smaller formats.
Six chairs by Hans J. Wegner rank among the classics. Sophus Bang’s folding sofa, on the other hand, is a unique piece, designed for Copenhagen Central Station. And, when properly arranged, Erik Reiff’s five ceramic mirrors can form an installation in their own right. Several of the lamps in the sale are also executed in ceramic, as are Lisa Larson’s Bulldog Maxi and Jens Jacob Bregnø’s imposing Adam and Eve.
All of the above, however, represents only a small selection from a sale comprising more than 130 lots.
