Lawrences Auctioneers present their March Book Sale.
Highlights include a 1519 Latin Bible, Rudolph Ackermann’s three volume Microcosm of London (£2,000) and an 1891 India & Ceylon two volume photo archive formerly belonging to Colonel Richard Mirehouse.
Besides books, the sale offers a selection of etchings and engravings and 17th century county maps by John Speed, John Ogilby, and Jan Jansson. Aloce included are documents like 18th century manuscript indentures and a 15th century French manuscript missal.
