The 19th century was the era when railway history truly took off. Steam locomotives began to be built, and cities were connected through rail networks of an unprecedented scale. In Sweden, the first railway with locomotive operation and public traffic was established in 1856. Just three years later, brothers Wilhelm and Theodor Friedrich founded the Märklin company. Initially, they produced dollhouse furniture, but over time, the company would become world-renowned for its model trains.
Now, at Helsingborgs Auktionskammare, an entire themed auction is dedicated exclusively to Märklin products. Here, you will find locomotives and wagons of various kinds—and, especially for collectors, display shelves to showcase these treasures!
PLEASE NOTE: All items are presented in their original packaging and have never been run on tracks. They are all awaiting their maiden voyage.
Welcome!
