Auction houses across Sweden have joined forces to present the Auctionet Special: Spring Fine Art Sale 2025!
This time, 25 affiliated houses contribute to a catalogue boasting over 1,000 lots. As always, the selection is diverse, extensive—and at times, delightfully unexpected—with both established classics and rare artefacts.
The art section features works by Lotte Laserstein, Carl Fredrik Hill, members of the Halmstad Group, Johan Kroutén, Bengt Lindström, Sonia Delaunay, Albin Amelin, Torsten Jovinge, and Olle Baertling, among many others. Several fine examples of historic international painting are also represented. When it comes to design, the auction offers creations by some of Scandinavia’s most iconic designers, spanning furniture, ceramics, silver, and glass.
Among the highlights are:
– Sport cabin furniture by Axel Einar Hjorth
– A wall clock from Ångermanland by Zacharias Persson
– A large Meissen dinner service fit for the entire extended family
– Two high-end Canton vases
– Carved figures by Döderhultarn
– An orange Pulcino bird
– A few collectible Donald Duck magazines
– And not least: a divine Morgan convertible, ready to cruise through summer with utmost ease.
Also worth a special mention are a number of unusual artefacts for collectors, connoisseurs, and passionate enthusiasts:
– The Mickey Mouse Slate Dancer, once a lithographed tin toy, now nearly a sculpture
– A surrealist piece by Vilhelm Bjerke-Petersen from 1941
– And Richard Ansdell’s masterful painting Morning—a virtuoso work in its genre.
Finally, don’t miss the drawer cabinet and compartment case from Wiwen Nilsson’s studio. Talk about provenance!
A warm welcome to Auctionet’s Spring Fine Sale 2025!
