It was the early 1970s.
The bold flower power movement was beginning to fade, giving way to stained-wood interiors and British TV series on boxy television sets. The oil crisis loomed on the horizon, threatening to stall the global economy. But for Susanne Sløk, the decade would mean something entirely different.
In the early years of the ‘70s, she was crowned Miss Denmark—a win that took her straight to Paris, where she quickly became a favorite among fashion photographers, including the renowned Gunnar Larsen. It was in Paris that Susanne Sløk honed her fashion sensibility and began building what would become an impressive wardrobe.
Now, Skånes Auktionsverk opens the doors to that very wardrobe, offering a glimpse into a life spent in the world of style. The auction presents 170 lots, filled with treasures from the great fashion houses. Naturally, you’ll find patterned scarves from Hermès, Christian Dior sunglasses, and classic Burberry coats—but there's so much more.
Dresses, belts, wallets, bags, blazers—all infused with a certain air de Paris.
Welcome to Skånes Auktionsverk and enjoy a much-needed breath of Parisian flair!
