"Kolonn's Treasures" is a little treasure chest brimming with delights in the form of selected antiques of various kinds. But alongside royal orders and gilded decorative objects, there are also a few much more recent pieces. One such item is Josef Frank’s French landscape watercolor. Another is a still life by Axel Kargel, signed and dated 1970.
If one were to work backward in time from there, one might well pause at Liss Eriksson’s male model in bronze, created in Paris during the 1940s. From there, the theme continues further back — through turn-of-the-century etchings, family portraits, a Russian enamel and diamond pendant, a transitional mirror — all the way to a relic holder from the Baroque period. And much more in between.
