Göteborgs Auktionsverk was founded in 1681 and is the worlds second oldest registered auction house. Operations ware housed in the specially designed auction room in 1892, on Tredje Långgatan 7-9 until 2014. Since March 2022, the viewings are at our new facilities at Banehagsgatan 20 in Gothenburg.
Through our quality and online auctions, we offer sales of a wide range of items. Quality Auctions will be held in autumn and spring and includes a classical and a modern department with selected objects of high quality.
Our experienced appraisers are appointed by the West Swedish Chamber of Commerce to value art, antiques and modern design and perform sales valuations for home visits and in our submission office. Göteborgs Auktionsverk also provides valuation for probate, probate and insurance. We provide a smooth and professional marketing solution for the estates and the entire home as well as a single article.
