A powerful vintage motorcycle is standing at Stadsauktion Sundsvall — and so is a candy machine from the confectioner Carl Nissen, who in 1908 established his operations in Norrköping. Both are included in the catalogue for Autumn Quality 2025.
And it is impressive. Just under 100 lots have been selected, and among them we find paintings by Lars Lerin, Bengt Lindström, Primus Mortimer Pettersson and Albert Johansson. The design department can moreover present several spectacular ceiling lamps by Hans-Agne Jakobsson, a Pulcino bird, a Colora vase by Vicke Lindstrand, stoneware by Berndt Friberg, figures by Lisa Larson (one of them a unique piece), and of course two elegant silver works by Åke Gradin. Particularly distinguished collector’s items include the fish platter and the tobacco jar from Svenskt Tenn.
Alongside these, you will find two exceptionally well-crafted cabinets that stand as prime examples of how stylistic history manifested itself further north in the country.
