Didn't get the weather you hoped for in June? Now you have the chance to bid on a grand themed auction as the collections of Detective Chief Inspector Leif Lindgren and his wife Marianne Lindgren go under the hammer at Skånes Auktionsverk. Collecting was a great passion for the couple, who over the years amassed numerous antiques and collectibles to decorate their villa in Helsingborg. The emphasis of the collection is on classic art, antiques, and ceramics, offering many exciting objects to discover.
The auction begins with several fine figurines and reliefs from the Austrian firm Goldscheider and continues with a collection of Lisa Larson figurines. Dahl Jensen and Royal Copenhagen are also well-represented among the items, including the figures “Fairytale III” and a very rare Chinese Emperor model no. 1799, as well as a collection of parian figurines from, among others, Gustavsberg.
Among the curiosities are boxes, seal stamps, and gold items, including an 18k gold box from 1812 and a diamond brooch from around 1900. Don’t miss a Leica M3 camera from 1956 either.
Are you on vacation? Planning to travel? Don't worry, there’s plenty of time to bid on the items. The auction will be open for bidding throughout the summer and will be concluded on Sunday, August 4th.
The proceeds from this auction will benefit Alzheimer and Rheumatic research at Lunds university.
