New auction house at Auctionet: Balclis in Barcelona

We welcome the Spanish auction house Balclis to Auctionet!

Beginning in January 2019 you will be able to take part of and bid on auctions from Spains leading auction house, Balclis.

Balclis was founded in 1979 by Antonio Climent Benaiges and Juan Baldrich with the ambition to make it easier for collectors and art interested people to buy and sell art. With experienced and knowledgeable experts and a close relationship with Spanish museums and collectors of Spanish art they have established themselves as the leading auction house in Spain. Since the start Balclis have sold over 200 000 artworks, jewellery and antiques and have achieved many record prices.

From early 2019 all of Balclis auctions will take place at Auctionet. They will mainly offer online auctions but also a number of traditional hammer auctions each season.

Balclis main areas of expertise are old and modern art, classical as well as asian antiques and antique jewellery from the 18th and 19th century. Like all our auction houses Balclis will of course offer all kinds of items from every corner of the world but with an emphasis on Spanish items.
