Louis Hedberg (1888-1937) was an art collector of renown and a huge hunting enthusiast. His home and collection are described in the 1934 publication of "Svenska Hem". For the first time since items from Hedbergs collection are now offered for auction.
We would particularly like to highlight the collection of classical, mostly hunting, weaponry that holds an international level of quality.
The collection of paintings contains important pieces from the "Swedish Golden Era" around the turn of the century with famous Swedish names such as Julius Kronberg, Bruno Liljefors, Gustav Rydberg, Pehr Hilleström, Anders Kallenberg, Alfred Wahlberg, Carl Georg Arsenius and Nils Forsberg.
