Palsgaard Kunstauktioner Selected has become a recurring headline to look forward to. This time, we are presented with December’s curated selection. More than 170 lots are included in a catalogue brimming with Danish design. The world-renowned furniture designers are, of course, represented here. Alongside their work—and other examples of exceptionally high-quality local craftsmanship—we also find several pieces from the golden age of Scandinavian lighting, and the art department offers a number of prominent works, among them two pieces by Imi Knoebel.
Perhaps the most inviting objects are the banana-shaped sofas upholstered in sheepskin. The most delicate, however, might be Frederik Staermose—or perhaps that pair of Art Deco wall lamps.
