Palsgaard Kunstauktioner spreads its wings and now presents a rich auction filled with art, crafts, and design. As expected, the much sought-after Danish cabinetmaking tradition is represented here — both through timeless classics and more unusual creations. It is joined by elegant jewellery, carefully selected lighting pieces, as well as prints and paintings.
Among the highlights is a high-backed leather armchair, perfectly made for relaxing by the fire, designed by Ludvig Pontoppidan. Another is a double-armed library lamp attributed to Vilhelm Lauritzen. Alongside a coastal landscape in oil by Sigurd Swane and a pair of German Art Deco silver candlesticks, these pieces come fully into their own within the curated theme Palsgaard Curated October.
You are most welcome!
