Leif Tapper was a true car enthusiast and one of the country’s most prominent and well-known model car collectors.
For 25 years, he wrote numerous articles for Nostalgia, sharing the latest models and news from the model car world. He considered it very important to include information about the historical background of the cars and was exceptionally well-informed, thanks to his own extensive library on automotive history.
He maintained contacts with collectors around the world, and his exhibitions were always highly appreciated, each with a distinct theme — for example, the Paris Motor Show 1955.
Leif passed away in 2020, and his family has now decided to sell his collection. A truly unique collection, an exposé of his life’s work, carefully acquired over half a century.
Stadsauktion Sundsvall has been entrusted with the sale of his collection. The collection will be auctioned in several rounds, often organized by different themes — entirely in Leif’s spirit.
Now it is time for the twelfth installment, this time with the theme: Leif Tapper’s Model Car Collection – Ford and Chevrolet.
