The perfect starting point for this presentation might just be Kjell Engman's strikingly blue champagne bottle. It truly lives up to the theme's name and naturally stands out as one of the highlights among the more than 50 items now presented by Laholms Auktionskammare under the title Color and Form.
Here, you’ll find a mix of furniture by Bruno Mathsson, porcelain and stoneware by Stig Lindberg (check out the figurine!), graphics by Victor Vasarely, lighting by Hans-Agne Jakobsson, coffee cups by Hertha Bengtsson, and a bronze sculpture by Salvador Dalí. And of course, there are a few exclamation points in the collection, some in smaller formats. For example, Hilding Engströmer’s evocative enamel work or Jan Åberg’s sculpture Rödstrumpa.
