"Tunna linjer. En färgskala i uteslutande grått, svart och vitt gör hans bilder ibland magiska och samtidigt förtätade." When Sweden's Television's Bildjournalen approached Gunnar Norrman's graphic works in a report several years ago, it was precisely the elusive quality of his images that they highlighted—the magical. There is sharpness and something vaguely hovering in them at the same time. And precisely that peculiar combination can now be seen at Crafoord Lund in 24 of his drypoint works. In "Hustak, Villandry," we see the silhouette of a city; in "Vårkänning," we can sense a new season creeping into the landscape where we, as viewers, find ourselves, and in "Skymning," there is only a small remnant of the day before everything in the print turns black. However, the auction includes 25 lots. The last item is a photo showing the artist at work. Welcome to discover Gunnar Norrman!
