In the theme of Artistry from Skåne, we are presented with around 70 artworks of various kinds. The common denominator, of course, is that the creators have some connection to Sweden's southernmost region. Primarily consisting of paintings, the curated selection also includes a couple of graphic works by Ola Billgren and Beck & Jung. The centerpiece is an impressive oil painting by Carl Otto Hultén with a saffron yellow background. A typical flower still life by Owe Zerge, this time featuring chrysanthemums in a vase, is also among the highlights, along with a canal motif by Jules Schyl from 1938. In addition to these, there is an early work by Gerhard Nordström, a highly expressive portrait of a man by Tora Vega Holmström, and Gerhard Wihlborg's delicately nuanced "The Harvest Begins."
